This is Sawyer Draper, grandson of Wabash County Recorder Lori Draper. Sawyer was diagnosed last week with Type B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL). Sawyer is your typical sweet and very energetic 2 year old who loves playing with his older brother Nolan. A few weeks ago he came down with some flu like symptoms. After multiple hospital stays and weeks of testing at Riley Children’s Hospital the bone marrow biopsy last week confirmed that it is in fact Leukemia.
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help with expenses.
This fundraiser will provide his family with the resources necessary for his treatment. All funds generated from this account will be used to pay for costs associated with the treatment; continued tests
, transfusions, spinal taps, surgeries, bone marrow biopsies, chemotherapy treatment, hospital stays, doctor visits, weekly travel to Indianapolis and the time spent off of work for both parents.
