Update: NEW this year! We will be trying out the Convene service to manage the event schedule, for those who wish to use it. There is an app for any smartphone that lets you see the entire schedule of the conference, as well as information about sessions, speakers, conference rooms, and other aspects. There is also a feature that allows attendees to check into the various sessions by using your smartphone to scan a QR code, which we will have outside the conference room, meaning that you won’t have to use a sign-in sheet. There is more information about Convene on the Thompson-Reuters website, and it is free to install and use the app. (In fact, it is free for the association to use. Thompson Reuters was also kind enough to enable the premium features for us to try out.)
To set up the app: Just install Convene (by Thompson Reuters) on your smartphone, register for an account, and then find event code IRA2019. Once you have that done, it’s really pretty intuitive how to use it. Give it a try now!

Update: The State Board of Accounts agenda and presentations have been made available on the SBOA website. Please scroll down to Meeting Materials and click the gray arrow. SBOA will have training on Tuesday and Thursday. If you have any questions , please send them to SBOA and they will better able to have answers for you during the conference.
